The circular route on Isla de Lobos is a unique way to explore the natural beauty and history of this little paradise. Approximately 10 km long, the route begins and ends at the island's main pier, providing easy access. The hike takes about 2 to 2.5 hours at a leisurely pace. It is moderately difficult, with a 241-meter elevation gain, reached at its highest point, the La Caldera Volcano (127 m), which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the island and its surroundings. Along the way, you'll pass beautiful beaches like La Concha and El Puertito, perfect for enjoying their calm, turquoise waters. You'll also have the opportunity to explore points of interest such as the Punta Martiño Lighthouse, the La Caldera Volcano, and Las Lagunitas, small salt ponds that are home to unique wildlife. Additionally, you can observe the Salinas del Marrajo salt flats, remnants of the island's former salt production. The signage is clear, making navigation easy, and the route is suitable for walkers with a basic level of fitness. It's an excellent way to connect with nature and enjoy the peace the island offers.
