Rules of the Isla de Lobos Natural Park

Declared a Natural Park in 1982 , the islet of Lobos is a must-see destination in Fuerteventura, requiring everyone's commitment and respect for its conservation. Access is limited by a daily quota: check how to obtain a permit to visit Lobos Island and consult the frequently asked questions before your visit.

Remember that you are in a Protected Natural Area; making a fire is incompatible with its conservation.

Leave no trace of your visit; take your waste with you. Waste management is complex and costly on the island.

Swimming is permitted on designated beaches and snorkeling is allowed in authorized areas.

Always respect the signs and instructions of the park staff.

Fishing is permitted only in specific locations and with the appropriate licenses.

Access to the island is permitted from sunrise to sunset. Access is not allowed at night.

Camping is prohibited on the island.

Respect the local flora and fauna; remember that there are unique species in the world.
